The Twin Peaks loop is our hardest regular route — 1,100 feet of cumulative gain packed into six miles across the city’s geographic spine. We start at the summit lot and descend into Noe Valley before climbing back through Corona Heights and looping the two peaks. Views from the top stretch from the Bay to the ocean on a clear morning; you earn every one of them. Carry 25–35 lbs if your body is ready for it, but a lighter pack is fine — the hills are the real workout here. Trail shoes, two water bottles, and a snack. We’re done by 9:00.
